Fic: Green Crescent borusa's second challenge (as allocated in the second doctor ficathon) was: "Professor Zaroff's First Encounter with the Doctor, that drove him quite mad and led to the Underwater Menace." Looking for inspiration in userinfo, I found 'Radio 4' as an interest... No warnings, a PG rating if that. ( To the Story ) |

Fic: Vampire Hobbits Do Minas Tirith
This was written many moons ago, with l_s_q and She-Who-Does-Not-Wish-To-Be-Associated-W ith-Vampire-Hobbit-Slash. Title: Vampire Hobbits Do Minas Tirith Pairing: Erm... probably Rating: 15? Note: Humor. Parody. Blood-sucking. ( Read more... ) |

A new uniform
Fandom: Hornblower Pairing: HH/AK Rating: PG Note: For the contrelamontre 'new' challenge. Set during HH4, when Horatio gets a lovely new uniform. I haven't written improv for months, and this isn't great, but all practice is good. ( Read more... ) |

The Cuddle of Cthulu
This is for l_s_q. I will freely admit that it is Not Very Good At All, however, the point is is that it's the most unlikely crossover slash pairing that I could think of and I've written it: Denise/Dennis Bryson and Cthulu. You can read 'The Call of Cthulu' here. Thus I present: Title: The Cuddle of Cthulu Fandom: Crossover Twin Peaks/ The Call of Cthulu Pairing: Denise Bryson/Cthulu Rating: R ( On with the weird... ) |

Saxon's Plaything
Title: Saxon's Plaything Pairing: Cadwallon of Gwynedd/Edwin of Deira Rating: R Notes: This is based on a rather dubious historical tradition that in his exile Edwin spent part of this time at the court of Gwynedd, and became Cadwallon's foster-brother. The generally accepted estimates for their birthdates make Edwin the senior by 16 years, but I always felt (with no evidence at all) that the age difference was less, so in this fic there's less than 10 years between them. Also, I've used 'Saxons' as the general term for Anglo-Saxons, even though Edwin was technically an Angle, since that's what tends to be used in annals. I've been able to find out nothing about homosexuality in the Anglo-Saxon period, so if anyone could point me in the direction of relevant websites or books I'd be very grateful. ( Don't worry, the fic is actually longer than that terribly long note. ) |

Folly
Written for the ringprov challenge, to write a fic with no dialogue: written in just over 30 minutes. Concrit very much welcome. Title: Folly Pairing: Faramir/Eomer, Faramir/Eowyn Rating:R/NC-17 (not really sure on this) Warnings: Angst. ( He should have said something. ) |

The Horse and the Stallion
Title: The Horse and the Stallion Pairing: Hengist/Horsa (not incest, since I'm taking them being referred to as brothers as metaphorical) Rating: PG-13 Notes: This is a bit odd, and I'm very open to concrit; I may have got a few historical anachronisms in there, which I'm open to correction on. Oh, and it's barely over 300 words. ( A warrior has fallen ) |

Title: 'Ol Janx Spirit Fandom: Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy Rating: R? Pairing: Zaphod/Ford Disclaimer: I worship at the altar of Douglas Adams, and apologise for playing with his creations. Warning: Since Zaphod and Ford are semi-cousins sharing three of the same mothers this may be considered incest by some. Written in about 30 minutes for the contrelamontre grocery list challenge, to use: 4 yellow objects 3 different types of animals (dead or alive) 2 mind-altering substances 1 pair of high heels The yellow objects and animals are mentioned in the story, rather than directly appearing; I'm not sure whether that counts as cheating. ( How much did we drink? ) |

Brentford Air

Answer to challenge in standies_squee: A fic (RPS or FPS) featuring all of the following: -a ladle -half a pound of butter -the phrase 'It didn't do that the last time I tried...' Written at 5am in the morning while waiting for laundry to finish, thus almost certainly awful, but I can't leave a challenge unattempted. Spellchecked but nothing else. Fandom: LoTR Rating: is a rank in the navy, I think. ( Read my sleepless strange ramblings... ) Current Music: Kapela ze wsi Warszawa - Styry konie |

Planting
Title: Planting Fandom: Lord of the Rings Rating: G Pairing: Frodo/Sam Discalimer: Just borrowed the characters from JRR Tolkien. Note: Pre-Quest, for the contrelamontre 'earth' challenge. It's a rather obvious pairing for this challenge, sorry. Written in 20 minutes, and the first time I've tried improv. ( Meanwhile, in the garden at Bag End... ) Current Mood: groggy |

Soldier poets in St. Andrews
Pairing: Robert Graves/Siegfried Sassoon Rating: PG Summary: Robert and Siegfried take a day trip to St. Andrews. Note: Set during the time that Sassoon was at Craiglockhart; Graves had given evidence on Sassoon's state of mind after his war protest that helped put him in a mental institution rather than prison. ( On to the story ) |
